Mike's Grill has a reputation for large portions.

The Acres Club in western Sydney opened its latest dining offer, Mike’s Grill. The new dining experience replaces the previous bistro, The Acres Kitchen, as well as the La Piazza Pizza kitchen.

Established restaurateur Mike Skufris has brought his award-winning restaurant to The Acres Club, offering a selection of his signature dishes, prepared with the flair and quality Mike’s Grill is renowned for.

Established in 2004, Mike’s Grill has several outlets in other clubs including Ramsgate RSL, Club Rivers, Gymea Miranda Bowling & Sports Club, and Club on East. The restaurant has a reputation for large portions, hearty meals, perfectly cooked steaks and exceptional value for money.

At The Acres Club in Greenacre – part of the Bankstown Sports Group portfolio – the restaurant is situated in a space surrounded by bowling greens, with an adjacent child’s playground. It has the capacity for 150 people.

“We are excited to expand our presence into Greenacre with our new partnership with The Acres Club,” stated Skufris.

“We look forward to serving our delicious food to the community and becoming a popular dining destination for Inner and Western Sydney.”

The Mike’s Grill menu at The Acres Club covers all the classics, offering a large range of steaks, seafood, pizza, parmys and burgers.

While the menu was the first thing that appealed to The Acres Club, working with an established partner was also a big tick.

“The Acres Club is always on the lookout to upgrade and elevate our food and drink offerings and experiences,” stated David Hills, general manager of venues at The Acres Club.

“We pride ourselves on being the friendly local, go-to favourite that caters for friends and families. Mike’s Grill is known for its mouthwatering food, lively atmosphere and affordable prices, and we are confident our patrons will welcome this new addition to our venue.”

“We were also looking for an established business partner for this project that is keen to build on an already successful venue and brand such as the Acres Club, as part of Bankstown Sports,” Hills concluded.

Since opening, the response to Mike’s Grill has been extremely positive, with a number of long-term members complimenting the quality of the food.
