The 2025 McKinsey State of Luxury report revealed that individuals expect to shift part of their spending to experiences, rather than on goods. This trend was reflected in the 2024 Bain-Altagamma Luxury Study, which showed experiential offerings grew by 5 percent, while traditional luxury products declined by 2 percent between 2023 and 2024. 

Similarly, SevenRooms’ annual Australian Restaurant Trends report found 74 percent of diners are more likely to return after a unique experience, and many are willing to pay for more.
