RSL & Services Clubs Association and Leagues Clubs Australia have announced the line-up of speakers for its upcoming 2024 Gaming and Leadership Conference on 27 and 28 May at Western Sydney Conference Centre, Penrith.

Themed Beyond Boundaries: Sustainable Futures, Inspiring Growth, this year’s two-day conference is geared towards pushing the limits of conventional thinking in the gaming industry.

It will also provide ample opportunities for networking with other industry leaders and professionals, allowing for ideas and insights to be exchanged.

Presenting the opening keynote will be The Demographics Group co-founder and director Simon Kuestenmacher on future demographic trends effecting the clubs industry. There’ll also be an opening address by NSW Minister for Gaming and Racing David Harris.

Other day one highlights will include a Sustainable Gaming Panel that will be moderated by Dr Anastasia Hronis and feature panel members including Twin Towns’ Rob Smith, Vjorn Bradow from Kedron Wavell, and Anthony Sobb from Fairfield RSL, and an update from AUSTRAC regulatory operations national manager Bradley Brown.

Day two will consist of an economic outlook from Westpac Business Bank chief economist Besa Deda, plus a session on Hospitality, Careers and F&B featuring an interview with Toni Clarke and Australian restauranteur and chef Luke Mangan.

Closing the two-day event will be an address by Shane Fitzsimmons on Leadership in 2023.
