Hospitality and Racing CEO Anthony Keon has been on the road to discuss regulations face to face.

The NSW Government says the first of a series of regional Regulatory Roadshows has been a success and has opened direct dialogue with the hospitality and racing sectors around the state.

Hospitality and Racing CEO Anthony Keon hit the road, visiting Bathurst and Newcastle first, and will also be holding additional roadshows in Kiama as well as Fairfield and Sydney CBD throughout 2023.

“The event in Bathurst was a great success with more than 70 attendees joining us to hear from a range of speakers, engage in interactive panel discussions and access information booths about NSW Government services,” Keon said:

“We received a fantastic response from those working across the hospitality and racing sectors, who attended to speak with my senior executive team and learn more about the industry support available to them.”

Keon said the Regulatory Roadshow is all about making sure officials get out to the various regions and talk to industry participants face-to-face to explain some of the NSW Government’s gaming reforms, discuss compliance initiatives, and get to the bottom of what issues they are facing.

“Pubs, clubs and racetracks are the lifeblood of areas like Bathurst, so it was fantastic to be able to spend a few days in the region to connect with our industry members,” he said.
