Castle Hill RSL has rolled out the new Short Cut menu concept by Steve Sidd of Catering HQ at its reimagined sports bar. The concept is specifically tailored to complement Castle Hill RSL’s Sports at 77, while also providing a fun and friendly dining alternative for members and guests.
“Short Cut is an exciting new food brand in Castle Hill RSL Club – with the brand, fit-out and food positioned as American sports bar meets modern family diner to balance the club’s Sports at 77 sports bar offering,” says Steve.
“Targeting a mix of sport enthusiasts, families and young adults, the space features arcade games, gaming console, and pool table for patrons to enjoy. “
The Sports at 77 concept, combined with the Short Cut menu and new branding, was a collaboration between Castle Hill RSL Group (CHRG) and Catering HQ and Soft Launch.
“The brand was designed by Soft Launch, in partnership with Castle Hill RSL Club and Catering HQ, with the brand colours, tone of voice, photography style, uniforms and tableware all designed to complement the Short Cut brand,” Steve says.
David O’Neil group CEO of CRHG says Short Cut is an exciting new concept that responds to an opportunity in the club’s culinary market for exceptional taste and efficient service.
“The food is flavoursome, well presented and caters exceptionally well to a diverse demographic of diners who are looking for a family-friendly dining experience, quick bite to eat before a show, or something to enjoy with mates while watching the big screens,” David says.
CHRG has operated in Sydney’s North West for more than 45 years. Originally established as Castle Hill RSL Group, CHRG has grown significantly over the years and now owns and operates a diverse range of venues including Castle Hill RSL, Club Parramatta, Castle Hill Fitness & Aquatic Centre, Lynwood Country Club & Lynwood Golf and, at last count, had about 50,000 members.
Catering HQ has also introduced the new Bamboo Blossom yum cha offering at Ryde Eastwood Leagues.
