Mounties Group has officially opened the redeveloped Halekulani Bowling Club on the NSW Central Coast, following a $3 million investment to deliver upgraded facilities for both competitive and social bowlers in the region.
The project, which broke ground in February and wrapped up in May, included a state-of-the-art synthetic green, an all-weather cover, new sports-grade lighting for evening and year-round play, and a dedicated players’ lounge. A brand-new bar area was also added to cater for regular bowlers and private events.
The upgrades were made possible with an additional $2.55 million contribution from the Mounties Group, above the initial commitment made during the clubs’ amalgamation.
“Mounties Group is always looking for ways to improve the lives of our members and their communities, and the opening of the bowling club demonstrates that,” Mounties Group CEO Dale Hunt said.
“This significant investment has elevated the Club and demonstrates Mounties Group’s commitment to creating only the best facilities for our members. Halekulani Bowling Club provides another hub for the local community to connect, both regular bowlers and recreational players alike.”

The Halekulani Bowling Club was one of three Central Coast venues that have amalgamated with Mounties Group since 2021, alongside Club Wyong and Breakers Country Club.
To celebrate the completion of the project, a grand opening was held on Friday 23 May and attended by Minister for Gaming and Racing David Harris. The event offered attendees a first look at the enhanced facilities, including expanded spectator seating and a new lounge with views over the green.
Mounties Group said the redevelopment has transformed Halekulani “into a central hub for the region and is designed to bring members and the wider community together for a more enjoyable and inclusive bowls experience”.
