Currumbin RSL Club has unveiled its event room renovation on the first floor of the ‘Best Little Club in the World’. The southern Gold Coast club says the modern and adaptable Waterside Events space is a perfect fit for any style of event, from corporate to parties to weddings.
The space is adjacent to a spacious private balcony overlooking Currumbin Creek and the function space can be sectioned off into smaller rooms for more intimate events.
The Waterside Events room is the final piece of the internal Currumbin RSL renovations and something the club is extremely proud of, says CEO John Bucknell.
“Our team have worked long and hard on this project to be able to offer an adaptable space that is used for community meetings, weddings, corporate events and celebrations,” he says.
“A once tired space is now brand new and desirable. With an abundance of future bookings already, Waterside Events at Currumbin RSL is now a firm favourite for functions on the southern Gold Coast.”
Currumbin RSL engaged AC Fitouts, owned and run by former army officer, Afghanistan veteran and Middle East security contractor Paul Langer, to complete the Waterside Events renovation.
“The veteran community are our core purpose, and it was a good outcome that we were able to move forward with AC Fitouts for this renovation,” says Bucknell.
The launch is the final stage of a $4 million makeover that included a new restaurant and members area, sports bar and cocktail bar designed by Cayas Architects.
