Accommodation Australia has launched Eeger, an industry-led platform servicing the “visitor economy” of tourism, hospitality, and travel.

The free platform, which the Australian Government is funding through Austrade, hosts education, training, business resources, and job opportunities.

Eeger General Manager Emilie Howe encouraged relevant businesses to sign up and “take advantage” of the platform.

“Eeger is more than a job platform – it’s built by industry, for industry. It’s a unique solution that centralises career, job and training information for our workforce needs - the first of its kind on a national scale,” Howe said.

The Albanese government granted Accommodation Australia $10 million to establish the platform. Minister for Trade and Tourism Don Farrell called its creation “a pivotal moment” for job seekers and employers looking to access the skilled workforce they need.

“My first job was in tourism, and I know firsthand how magnificent this industry is to be a part of. I encourage businesses and jobseekers to sign up and make the most of this innovative platform and join this vibrant and important sector,” Farrell said.

Farrell said the platform “will help rebuild and future-proof Australia’s visitor economy”.

The platform includes hospitality job vacancies; career resources for jobseekers, students, and employers; a directory of training programs; and more. It has no fees for businesses and employers in 2025.
