The Currumbin RSL-backed Creekfest is back after a huge inaugural year, with this year’s three-day event on 24-26th June offering bigger stages, more artists and a bigger footprint to allow more music lovers to enjoy the shows.
“We are super excited to be bringing this community event back to Currumbin,” the club said. The event is also part of Currumbin RSL’s support of the Gold Coast’s live music scene with the club offering free live music every Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as gigs upstairs at its Soundlounge.
The 2022 Creekfest program for the all-ages event will showcase more than 20 live performances, across two outdoor stages right next to Currumbin RSL on picturesque Currumbin Creek.
The diverse artist line-up consists of emerging local artists such as Pure Milk, Callum Creelman and Luke Pauley and established national acts headlining the event, including Kim Churchill, Kyle Lionhart and Thirsty Merc.
A variety of food truck operators – including those supplying vegetarian, vegan and GF options – will be released closer to the event. Currumbin RSL will also be serving food within the club. Local legends Balter & Brookie’s gin pop-up bar will also be on location.
