South Australian clubs are reminded that nominations for the Clubs and Community Awards, to be held at the Adelaide Oval, close on Monday 17 July at 5pm. The awards, which recognise the outstanding contributions Metropolitan and Regional licensed clubs and their people make to their communities, will be celebrated on Saturday night, 21 October.
Last year, there were more than 160 nominations, ranging from community to operational to individual gongs were received in 18 categories.
“This is always a great opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the significant contribution of licensed clubs and their people that make South Australian communities a great place to live,” Clubs SA CEO Mike Penfold says.

Every Clubs SA Member that nominates in one or more categories will go into the draw to win one of three cash prizes – $3000, $1500 and $500.
With 18 awards across four categories to choose from, your venue will not only be recognised for the work it and its staff have done for their community, but it could also win your club a cash injection to support this work.
