Club Helensvale has revamped its own venue despite financial hurdles.

Club Helensvale has undergone major renovations to its reception, bottle shop and gaming lounge and is now moving into the next stage of its $12 million refit. The latest phase of the refurbishment will include changes to both the internal layout and external building structures.

Inside, the sports bar will move to the other side of the main bar to make way for a larger café adjacent to the existing bistro and there will be more lounge seating in what is the current Café 22 space.

The sports bar will include a state-of-the-art sound system and 98-inch screens. The main bar will have a facelift, while the whole venue will get new flooring.

Works started in August and are expected to be completed by October 2022.

Construction of a two-storey bowlers pavilion and function space will commence in late 2022 and by June 2023 this building is expected to open onto the club’s covered bowling green and connect to the main clubhouse to the left of its revamped reception area.
