Equip your club with the essential tools to confront challenges in the present market. The AHG Congress – presented by Clubs Australia and the Club Managers’ Association Australia – will be on Tuesday 11 March at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
It will be your chance to discover strategies to effectively manage risks, ensuring your club’s resilience and strength in the future.
The club industry leading governance and management congress will kick off with an inspiring session by Tom Potter, founder of Eagle Boys Pizza, on How to Stand Out Like a Zebra Among Horses.
You’ll also hear from CEOs of the six leading Club Associations: Ralph Kober, CMMA; Rebecca Riant, ClubsNSW; Kelly Egan, Clubs QLD; Andrew Lloyd, Community Clubs VIC; Don Hammond, Leagues Clubs Australia; and Margot Smith, RSL & Services Clubs Association. In a panel discussion, they will chat through the current challenges and opportunities and will offer insight on how collaboration and partnerships can build a stronger club industry.
Warren Tapp, a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors who is currently completing a PhD in law on Governance in Licensed Clubs, will guide you through all the essential principles of effective club governance.
The one-day congress will end with world-leading public speaking trainer, former News Corp Australia journalist, comedian, and author Jordana Borensztajn about The Magic of Innovation.
The Club Managers’ Association Australia Annual General Meeting will also be held directly prior to the commence of the Congress.
