The Royal Automobile Club of Victoria (RACV) has unveiled a new conference and events centre at its Gold Coast-based Royal Pines Resort following a multi-million-dollar investment.
The ballroom now features a 24-metre LED screen, which RACV claims is the “largest hotel LED screen in the southern hemisphere”.
As part of the upgrade, motorised production cameras, stage and studio lighting, upgraded distributed audio system, laser projectors, and mobile staging solutions were also introduced.
In addition to the technology upgrades, the event centre has also received a new executive lounge, upgraded meeting rooms, and refreshed catering options. Outdoor lighting and mobility access to the venue has also been upgraded.
“With the facilities we now have in place, we have exceptional offerings for businesses of every size, private functions and larger conferences,” RACV Royal Pines Resort Manager Martin Zumstein said.
“What separates us from the competition is we’re able to blend business with pleasure – our accommodation, restaurants and location means that guests will really get the best of both worlds during their stay.”
RACV Royal Pines Resort features 15 event spaces, and can accommodate up to 1,800 delegates across 333 rooms at the resort.
