Queanbeayan Kangaroo Rugby League Football Club – also known as ‘The Roo’s Club’ offered Temple & Webster’s Trade+Commercial Hospitality team the unique opportunity to style and furnish multiple areas of their popular venue. One that has been a part of the Queanbeyan community since 1966.
The project brief for The Roo’s Club was to update the venue by creating a modern and sophisticated yet functional and family-friendly dining setting to cater to the club’s growing customer base. The procurement was part of the overall update that occurred at the club, which included a complete update and refresh of all areas of the lounge, dining and bar areas.
The Hospitality team met this brief by selecting furniture with a contemporary palette. The dining space was light and bright and utilised a neutral scheme to compliment the greenery and natural light that floods the space. The restaurant, which includes an indoor and outdoor space, used a darker palette, creating a modern and more dramatic feel. The refit included dining chairs and tables, bar stools and bar tables, lighting, and decor pieces to add personality and warmth.
The refurbishment of the lounge, casual seating and restaurant areas of the club resulted in a beautiful and relaxed environment for members to enjoy.
