Future Farm is on a mission to change the way the world eats meat, one burger at a time. We are a brand that envisions a world where people choose to eat more plants, not animals. In the three years since our launch, we have disrupted the plant-based industry by bringing world-class products and a positive outlook to 30 countries and counting.
With people coming back to Clubs, it’s now important to cater to a growing food trend. With 42% of Australians reducing meat consumption or shifting to plant-based diets it is now essential to cater for all. When customers opt for this, they do not want to compromise on flavour or texture. That is why our product is a perfect choice as not only is it 100% vegan, we use True Texture Technology to ensure that the transition from animal to plant meat is seamless. Our products are also a good source of protein, gluten free, no GMO, Kosher and Halal.
To give you an idea of how you can create something delicious and completely plant-based, we have provided an epic recipe that uses Future Mince to make delicious plant-based sliders for smaller portions.
Ingredients
100g Future Mince
1 uni burger bread or vegan brioche
c/s vegan mayo (Hellman’s vegan mayo is amazing)
2uni slice vegan cheddar cheese (Violife has a lovely sliced vegan cheddar)
1uni sliced gherkin
10g onion jam
For the Future smashed burger:
1. Begin by opening the bun, drizzling a little olive oil and toasting them on the inside. Set it apart.
2. Heat a frying pan, add some olive oil and smash the mince mix for 2 minutes on each side until is nicely golden on the outside and juicy at the centre. For that, we must mix the mince in a bowl, season with salt and pepper and form one portion of “meat” (approx. 100g of plant-based meat).
3. Add the cheddar on top, turn the fire off and close the pan with a lid so the cheese can melt.
Plating:
1. Warm the buns, spread some mayo on each side, add a generous spoon of the onion jam, add the burger on top and finalize with a couple of slices of gherkin. Close the bun and enjoy!
We also offer Future Burger in 115g portions that can be used for bigger servings of this recipe – just swap out the mince for the burgers! This product is also 100% carbon neutral.
