The former home of the Narrabeen RSL Memorial and Recreation Club is now on the market and expects offers upward of $15 million.
Located in Sydney’s northern beaches, the 1,884-hectare property, owned by the Narrabeen RSL sub-branch, was a cornerstone of the community since 1947. It boasts a three-storey L-shaped building with a total lettable area of 1,842sqm, three lawn bowling greens, multiple lounge rooms, an auditorium, dining areas, office spaces, storerooms, function rooms, 39 car parking spaces.
“This iconic site offers an extraordinary blend of historical significance and future potential,” Savills Australia and New Zealand national director Nick Lower said.
“It’s a unique opportunity for investors to leverage the property’s prime location to create something truly special for the North Narrabeen community.”
The club, which was affectionally known to locals at The Razza, entered voluntary administration and officially shut its doors on February 6, 2022.
“The board wishes to inform you that The Club has entered the process of voluntary administration,” the club posted on its Instagram account on March 10, 2022.
“Whatever happens next The Razza will always have a place in our hearts and no matter what, our community will always be in our thoughts.”
Savills Australia and New Zealand state director Tim Grosmann believes the site has potential to be transformed into various opportunities, whether that’s residential, commercial, or community orientated.
“Developers can capitalise on this opportunity with a wide range of potential options for the site, including healthcare facilities, childcare centres, community amenities, and residential land subdivisions,” he said.
The site, 116 Nareen Parade, North Narrabeen, is being offered for sale via Expressions of Interest, closing Thursday August 15 at 4pm.
