Dural Club has celebrated the unveiling of its newly renovated facilities following a “substantial investment” into revamping the venue.
The overhaul came following the club’s amalgamation with Parramatta Leagues Club in August 2023. Then known as Dural Country Club, the north-western Sydney club first called for expressions of interest in amalgamating with another club in July 2022.
As part of the strategic partnership, Parramatta Leagues guaranteed capital expenditure of $5 million over three years at the Dural premises, which would be put towards refurbishing the clubhouse, bowling greens and bocce courts.
Now, the rebranded club boasts an open-plan layout, a new bar and cafe, spacious function rooms, a dedicated kids’ play area, and lawn bowl facilities. The stylish new space was delivered with the help of Interior Construction Group.
President Greg Monaghan said the rebrand and renovating the space was driven by community demand.
“We’ve seen tremendous growth in the area and heard the community’s call for a refreshed space that reflects the vibrant, intergenerational families we serve,” he said.
“With over 8,000 members in the Hills area across the Parra Leagues Club group, Dural Club will provide these members with amenities conveniently closer to home. Our goal with this rebrand and renovation is to create a welcoming environment where every member of the family can find joy, celebration and connection.”
The rebrand and unveiling of the new-look clubhouse was marked by a grand reopening event attended by local MPs and the local community.
“Dural Club has always been a vital part of our community. We have members who have grown up at Dural Club, marking significant life milestones such as christenings, birthday parties, and engagements,” CEO Chris Dimou said.
“With these renovations, we now have the capability to facilitate weddings as well, enhancing our role in celebrating the most cherished moments in our members’ lives. It’s not just about a new look but about deepening the connections and celebrations we share.”
