ClubsNSW has announced a three-year partnership with PCYC NSW, underpinned by a new memorandum of understanding (MOU) that aims to deepen the long-standing relationship between local clubs and PCYC branches across the state. The announcement was made at the 2025 ClubsNSW Clubs & Community Awards.

The partnership will provide targeted support for PCYC’s Nations of Origin, a flagship annual sporting and cultural event in the Hawkesbury that brings together hundreds of Indigenous young people from regional NSW.

ClubsNSW CEO Rebecca Riant said the commitment reflects the sector’s shared values and ongoing support for community youth programs.

“The partnership is specifically designed to provide financial support for the Nations of Origins program, supporting Indigenous kids from the regions to attend a PCYC marquee and annual sporting event in the Hawkesbury,” she said.

“You will see the Your Local Club logo on team uniforms at the Nations of Origins events for at least the next three years, and we hope for beyond.”

She added that ClubsNSW and PCYC NSW have also signed an MOU to formalise and grow existing grassroots relationships.

“In the last ClubGRANTS year alone, member clubs donated more than $500,000 to PCYC across NSW and we believe we can do even more,” Riant said.

PCYC CEO Ben Hobby described the partnership as a natural extension of the pair’s existing relationship.

“I feel like we’ve just found the extension of our family. All the people within the clubs network are just like the PCYC network,” he said.

“We’re so thrilled and we want to offer our appreciation for all the clubs that already interact with PCYC right across the state, and we’re so thankful for your contributions. We couldn’t do what we do really without you.”
