Catering HQ has launched a new parent company, Catering HQ Group, bringing together its catering, software, supply chain, and franchising operations under one banner.
The move consolidates four key areas of the business: Catering HQ, Hospitality Genie, Wholefoods, and Network: Hospo In A Box.
Catering HQ was established in 1996 as a boutique catering and events company and now works with multiple venues across Sydney, including Castle Hill RSL, Club Parramatta, Lynwood Country Club, Cronulla RSL, Brighton Lakes Golf Club, and Pittwater RSL.
Over time, founders Steve Sidd and Albie Aldahawi expanded their services to address operational challenges faced by hospitality businesses.
In 2010, the company introduced Hospitality Genie, a software platform designed to streamline venue administration. A decade later, Catering HQ Wholefoods was launched, providing a direct supply chain between manufacturers and clients to ensure access to high-quality, sustainably sourced products.
Most recently, in 2024, Catering HQ established Network: Hospo In A Box, a franchise model aimed at individuals looking to operate their own restaurant or cafe.
“The collaboration of these four unique businesses means Catering HQ Group is now a complete solution for venues looking to streamline their food and beverage service operations,” Catering HQ group managing director Steve Sidd said.
“Our clients have access to in-house venue and event catering, venue management consultancy, supply chain and logistics, and a software solution designed specifically for the needs of the hospitality industry.
