Frenchville Sports Club has officially opened the doors to stage two of its multi-phase renovation, introducing five new hospitality and entertainment spaces.
Following the successful completion of stage one last year, the newly unveiled developments include Aroma’s Cafe, Luxe Lounge, The Atrium, Dusk Lounge and a new sports bar featuring what the club is claiming as the “biggest screen in Central Queensland”.
Frenchville Sports Club chairman Graeme Brady said the latest upgrades deliver on the club’s commitment to creating new and welcoming spaces for the entire community.
“This next stage of our renovations truly reflects what Frenchville is all about – bringing people together,” he said.
“From a morning coffee catch-up to an elegant evening cocktail, to watching live sport with mates on CQ’s biggest screen, we’re proud to now offer something for everyone.”
Aroma’s Cafe offers a bright and casual setting, while Luxe Lounge is a stylish cocktail bar for intimate gatherings. The Atrium is a glass-enclosed space overlooking Ryan Park and the Berserker Ranges designed to host functions and offer a place for guests to relax, and Dusk Lounge brings a contemporary, laid-back setting for live music and evening drinks.

The crown jewel of the new offering is the state-of-the-art Sports Bar, with multiple large screens including a nine-metre screen.
“We’ve worked hard to create new spaces that our members and the wider community can be proud of,” CEO Damien Massingham said.
“Stage two introduces some of the best hospitality and entertainment facilities in Queensland, whether it’s great coffee, live music, cocktails with friends, or catching every big game live, Frenchville Sports Club is now the place to be.”
The club worked with partners including Ashley Cooper Constructions, BSPN, and Tabcorp, which supported the creation of the nine-metre screen anchoring the new Sports Bar.
With stage two now open, the club will temporarily close its bistro and function rooms as part of stage three renovations, with further upgrades already in planning.
