Australian financial services provider Zeller has announced the launch of an all-in-one payments and point-of-sale (POS) solution, Zeller Terminal 2.
Designed and engineered in Melbourne, Zeller Terminal 2 was developed to exceed outdated hardware and streamline business banking, integrated with the new Zeller POS Lite – a free, customisable POS app.
Ben Pfisterer, co-founder and CEO at Zeller, said: “Zeller is proud to be a global leader in redefining the next generation in payments and point of sale, from right here in Australia. Zeller Terminal 2 is the most advanced, affordable, all-in-one payments and POS solution anywhere in the world.
“While other banks and providers are raising their fees, Zeller is dedicated to delivering premium products at affordable prices. We’re helping Australian business owners to streamline their operations, deliver a better customer experience, and ultimately survive and thrive.”
Eliminating the need for a traditional receipt printer, Zeller Terminal 2 supports email, SMS and QR code receipts, along with enhanced security for merchants and cardholders. With more than 1.8m Australians impacted by credit card fraud each year, the terminal prioritises acceptance of more secure payment methods, such as EMV chip cards and contactless cards, by removing the traditional magstripe card reader.
With the capability to manage inventory and track sales, the integrated Zeller POS Lite app removes the need for costly hardware and multiple providers. The app allows businesses to manage complete sales operations, including creating items, applying discounts and sending itemised receipts, with the option to connect to more than 600 third-party POS platforms.
Along with the introduction of new technological capabilities is a unique hardware format, equipped with a 6.5-inch full-colour HD digital display with customisable light and dark modes.
“Designed and engineered by our team here in Melbourne, the launch of Zeller Terminal 2 marks another significant milestone for Zeller. In just over three years, we’ve delivered more financial services, payments, and POS innovation into a single platform, and are excited to introduce next-generation solutions to support our customers across Australia and see a positive impact on their businesses,” added Pfisterer.
