In addition, the pavilion’s balcony offers full views over the two new bowling greens the site of which was once home to a police station.
The club has also relocated its northern alfresco gaming area which will be absorbed by an extension of the southern alfresco gaming area.
Stage 2 includes new underground parking with electronic entry for 375 vehicles, a world-class gaming room and a unique eastern entry point with a huge port cochere from Railway Parade. A 300-seat Italian restaurant is also in the works.
Stage 3 is a 140-room hotel that Accor Novotel will operate. While the hotel will not be complete for another 2-3 years, excavation is already underway and will feature a hotel pool, spa and lounge, business lounge and café.
