IGT's Craig Harley is the new CEO of Clubs Queensland.

BREAKING NEWS

Clubs Queensland has announced IGT Queensland & NT State Manager Craig Harley as its new Chief Executive Officer. Clubs Queensland said Craig, who will take up his new role on 20 June, brings with him a wealth of experience not only from IGT, but also many years in senior leadership roles with Knight Frank Australia, CB Richard Ellis and Aristocrat Technologies.

“Craig has an incredible dedication to the community, which is exemplified through his involvement with the charity, Smart Pups Assistance Dogs for Special Needs Kids,” Clubs Queensland President Gavin Lyons said.

“Craig also has an in-depth knowledge of the club industry and is exactly the person needed to build upon the success of Clubs Queensland and the club industry as a whole. We are looking forward to Craig joining us.

Dan Nipperess will continue in the acting role until June, at which point he will step back into the role as General Manager, Clubs Queensland.

Craig, the father of three teenage children, issued a personal appeal to the hospitality industry to check in on each at the early stages of COVID-19. You can watch the video here.

Last year, he hit the road, bringing IGT games to Queensland venues with a travelling expo.

IGT hit the road last year, taking its machines to Queensland clubs.

Craig travelled from the Gold Coast to Cairns in a truck packed with the latest gaming machines and the latest games, meeting customers at 11 key centres along the coast.

“The response from customers at each of our pit stops has been unbelievable,” he said at the time.  “They appreciate that we’ve thought outside the box and brought the product to them during the extraordinary times we all find ourselves living in.

“Being on the road has enabled us to connect and support our customers and demonstrate how IGT is adapting our games and solutions,” Craig told Clubs Queensland at the time.
