Ingleburn RSL has officially reopened Ingleburn Bowling Club following a $15 million rebuild, and the marked the occasion with a community celebration on Monday evening.
The relaunch comes after the club was closed at the start of 2024 for a complete redevelopment, with doors now open after 16 months of construction.
Ingleburn RSL, the parent club of Ingleburn Bowling Club since the two amalgamated in 2020, led the transformation to breathe new life into the ageing facility. The project was designed by Quattro Architecture, led by Peter and Michelle Hosking.
“It would be more than fair to say we have exceeded the former club’s members and community’s expectations of our investment into this facility,” Ingleburn RSL CEO Glenn Cushion said.

Local MP of Macquarie Fields Anoulack Chanthivong attended the opening and praised the club’s perseverance and commitment.
“This is a great community facility,” he said.
“Despite the challenges, despite the cost, the RSL never wavered from ensuring that this facility continues to cater for the people of our local area.
“Now, communities thrive, and they do best when there are facilities that are built for them. For people who want to come and watch a bit of sport outside, it’s built for you. For people want to come and bowl, it’s built for you.
“People who want to come enjoy a drink, a meal with their kids, with their family in this brand new facility right here in the heart of Ingleburn, this facility is here for you.
“To allow people to get together, to have conversations, to share memories, to have a laugh, to enjoy each other’s company that is what a community is actually about.”
